Warnings About Babies’ Exposure to Cell Phones and WiFi Radiation Aren’t New. So Why Are These Products Still Being Marketed for Babies and Infant Care?
By B.N. Frank
Many parents have no idea that there is still no “safe” level of cell phone or WiFi radiation exposure that has been scientifically determined for children or pregnant women. Children are also much more vulnerable to exposure than adults.
Exposure may not cause immediate and/or noticeable harm. It also isn’t only about “boosting possible cancer risk.

Exposure is cumulative. More people are “sensitive” to it than what we have been led to believe. That is why it is important to use precaution with exposure to all sources of WiFi radiation – especially around children.
There is information about radiation exposure included in “The Fine Print” of manuals for personal devices such as Alexa, baby monitors, cell phones, cordless phones, Fitbits, Virtual Reality (VR), WiFi routers, and other “smart” products.
Antennas, cell towers, and WiFi “Hotspots” also emit WiFi radiation. Many have been expressing concerns about exposure from wireless infrastructure including firefighters.
In the U.S., the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) is supposed to regulate all digital and WiFi technology. They have not been protecting the public, and this is not new to the Trump administration.
WiFi isn’t magic. It is wireless – aka microwave radiation – like what cooks food in microwave ovens. It’s also sometimes referred to as RadioFrequency (RF).
While fundraisers have been earnestly raising money to find cures for cancer and other health issues, The Telecom Industry (aka “Big Wireless”) continues to design, manufacture, and market more harmful products and infrastructure.
Some countries have been proactive about raising awareness and protecting citizens from exposure. Recently in France, scientists demanded the immediate recall of millions of cell phones after government data revealed that 9 out of 10 phones tested exceed regulatory limits.
In the U.S, it’s been just the opposite. “The Precautionary Principle” has been completely ignored by everyone except for tech inventors. They have actually been limiting their own kids’ exposure and sending them to “low tech schools” while marketing digital and wireless technology to educators and public school systems.
Many U.S. elected officials have also completely sold out to “Big Wireless.” They are currently forcing more of it on us in our homes and communities.
In the meantime, are you sure you want anything like this near your baby?
