Video: Second Shooter Spotted Firing From Billboard Into The Crowd During Las Vegas Massacre?
A second shooter fires from an elevated position, presumably the billboard located outside “Mr. Deli,” at 10:04 p.m., before Paddock fires his first fully-automatic volley, video appears to show.
The purpose of this article is to open a real-time discussion and investigation into the possibility that a ‘second shooter’ may have been firing from an elevated position across the strip and to the west of the Mandalay Bay Hotel.
At 3:08 into the video you can see what appears to be a single flash coming from the billboard behind the left Farris wheel post, by 3:12 the shot can be heard.
After doing an extensive analysis on the matter, I have determined that the shot likely came from the billboard located by “Mr. Deli” on Las Vegas Blvd. The signage overlooks the venue and is higher up than the roof of the Motel 8.
In the following image, the two Ferris wheel poles can be seen in the background to the left and beyond the poles the venue can be seen.
This would have been the shooter’s vantage of the venue from the billboard.
The actual distance from the billboard to where the videographer was standing at the time the potshot was taken is a total distance of 818 yards
The following image illustrates the shooter’s line of site.
