Jerome Corsi sues Roger Stone for defamation
Political operative Roger Stone was sued by former associate Jerome Corsi on Thursday for defamation in a U.S. District of Columbia court.
The $25 million lawsuit filed by Corsi claims that Stone lied about the WikiLeaks dump to intentionally inflict “emotional distress and coercion and threats are intended to try even cause Plaintiff Corsi to have heart attacks and strokes, in order that Plaintiff will be unable to testify at Stone’s criminal trial.”
Moreover, Corsi’s suit claims that Stone’s actions caused him “conscious pain, suffering, severe emotional distress and the fear of imminent serious bodily injury or death, and other mental and physical injuries, and Plaintiff was severely harmed and damaged thereby.”
Stone has previously accused Corsi of working with Special Counsel Robert Mueller to “sandbag” him.
